Marietta was born February 18, 1933 to James and Julie (Scott) Koch in Selma, VA. She attended Selma High School and graduated with top academic honors. She moved to Washington DC, and attended George Washington Business College and earned a AA in business management. Upon graduation she was employed at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington DC in 1953. In 1954 she met LTC Lloyd Siberz and they were married on September 22, 1956. She moved to Mitchell, SD briefly in 1957, but left later in the year to join her husband in Okinawa, Japan. She spent three years there involved in various base organizations, and living a busy life as the wife of a hospital administrator, and sometimes base commander. In 1962 she returned to Mitchell and resided where she became active as a housewife and mother. Grateful for sharing her life are her children, Lloyd Siberz of Mitchell and Sue (Mark) Vaeen List of Killeen, TX; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers and two sisters.
