Margaret Tobin, age 90, passed away peacefully at Bormann Manor in Parkston, SD on August 12, 2021.  Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Will Funeral Chapel.  Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Ethan.  Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Monday, August 16, 2021 at Will Funeral Chapel.

Margaret Audrey Norwick was born on April 12, 1931 to Arthur and Velma Norwick.  She attended Worthen Country School and graduated from Ethan High School in 1949.  She married the love of her life, Bob Tobin, in June 1949 and they had 64 wonderful years together.  They were blessed with four children and spent their lives together on their beloved farm near Ethan.

Marge was a homemaker, wonderful cook, and loved her horses.  After the kids were grown Marge pursued careers in medical records, real estate and the ASCS office in Mitchell.  She was a talented artist and enjoyed writing poems and playing scrabble.

Grateful for sharing her life are her daughter, Audrey (Larry) Ostertag of St. James, MO, son, Kelly of Ethan, and son Carey (Patti) of Mitchell, five grandchildren. 8 great grandchildren, special family friend Jim, brother Kenneth, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob, in 2013, son, Douglas, grandson, Eric, and brothers Donald and Terry.
