Margaret Jeanne (Eichman) Miller passed away on June 6 ^th at Bormann Manor in Parkston. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Will Funeral Chapel.  Visitation will begin one hour prior.  Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Jeanne was born in Junius, SD on January 27, 1927, the 4 ^th of six children to Henry and Elizabeth (McCool) Eichman.  She moved to Mitchell in 1942 and graduated from Notre Dame High School.  She attended Nurses training for one year; she then worked as a clerk at Woolworths Dime Store.  While there she met Walter R. Miller and in 1946 they were married in Yankton, SD.  To this union a daughter, Carmen, was born.

Many years were spent living in the country raising their daughter, caring for animals, and other families needing assistance.

She is survived by her daughter Carmen Hess and husband Peter of Prescott, AZ.   She is also survived by a sister-in-law Marvis Miller of Mitchell, SD and several special nieces and nephews from the Eichman and Miller families.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, her parents, mother-in-law and father-in-law, three brothers Herb, Bob and Clair (Ike) Eichman, and two sisters Marcella Kelly and Noreen Boomsma.

Jeanne is now at rest with her savior.
