Margaret Maggie Henrich, age 58, of Mitchell, died Tuesday, February 12, at her home in Mitchell. Memorial services will be held on 11:00 AM Saturday, February 23 at the Will Funeral Chapel in Mitchell. Maggie was born October 16, 1949 to Urban and Blanche (Wick) Henrich, in Madison, MN. As a young child she moved to Mitchell with her family where she attended Notre Dame School, Nettleton and then Augustana College in Sioux Falls where she received a business degree. As a single mother Maggie worked various jobs in Mitchell, Sioux Falls, and Edina, MN. She returned to Mitchell in the mid 1990s. Maggie enjoyed writing, reading inspirational books and spending time with her friends and family. Her greatest pleasure in life was her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her two children Micki (Doug) Sawyer, Apple Valley, MN and Rory (Rebeka) Henrich, Sioux Falls; her mother Blanche Henrich, Mitchell, SD ; her brother Joe Henrich and special friend Sharie, her sisters Betty (Jack) Beiswanger, Mankato, MN and Judy (Curt) Genter, Longmont, CO; five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Urban, a sister Bonnie and a brother Stan.
