Marcella Kelly, 84, of Mitchell, died Thursday, August 9, 2007 at Firesteel Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be 10:30AM Saturday, August 11, 2007 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mary Marcella Kelly was born June 1, 1923, in Madison, SD to Elizabeth (McCool) and Henry Eichman and was the first baby born at the Madison Community Hospital. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy and Lange School of Beauty Culture in Mitchell. On October 29, 1945 she married Milo E. Kelly in Mitchell and worked at area salons during her lifelong career as a beautician. She also was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters. Marcella is survived by her daughter Kathleen Kelly, Bloomington, Minnesota; son Todd Kelly and wife Sherry of Plymouth, Minnesota; grandson John Thielges; granddaughter Jenna Kelly; sisters Jeanne Miller of Mitchell and Noreen Boomsma of Appleton, Wisconsin; brother H.C. Eichman and wife Delores of Mitchell. She will also be remembered by countless relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Mary, her parents and two brothers.
