Lynda Crain, 79, of Mitchell passed away on July 18, 2022 at Firesteel Health Care in Mitchell.  A private family service will be held at a later date.

Lynda was born on October 22, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN to Dennis E. Harding and Leota G. (Holverson) Harding.  She attended school in Bloomington, MN where she graduated.  After high school she moved to Sioux Falls where she met the love of her life, Ronald J. Crain.  The couple married on January 20, 1960.  To this union, five children were born:  Lori, Jeff, Jennifer, Debbi, and Tom.

Lynda enjoyed family gatherings and hosting the holiday get togethers.  She also enjoyed having coffee with her friends at McDonald's, cooking, baking, gardening, and communicating with family and friends on Facebook.

Grateful for having shared her life are her children; Lori Schreurs, Jeff (Mary) Crain, Jennifer Crain, Debbi (Kent) Ihnen, Tom (Carol Steilen) Crain, grandchildren; Katie (Andrew) Jones, Zachary (Amber Larsen) Crain, Nathan Sinkie, Jessica Sinkie, Morgan (Colin Brown) Crain, Melody Crain, Tucker Crain, Tanner Crain, great grandchild; Athena Aspen, special friends; Linda and Larry Schultz and Sherry and Curt Smith,.

Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ronald (2007) and a grandson, Georgie Schreurs.
