Lyle Gerlach, age 45, of Morrison, Colorado, formerly of Mitchell, died at his home after a lengthy illness, June 30, in Morrison. Memorial services will be held on Monday, July 10, at 11:00 AM at the Will Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery at rural Dimock. Lyle was born on December 6, 1960 to Robert and Violet (Wilson) Gerlach. He graduated from the Meat Cutting class at MAVT in 1978. He married Sandra Woods in 1986, and lived and worked in the St. Paul, Minnesota area for several years. They were later divorced and after a couple years he moved to Morrison, Colorado. He is survived by his former wife, Sandra; two children: Jessica Gerlach and Kyle Gerlach, all of St. Paul, MN; brothers: Leroy Gerlach of Morrison, Colorado, Al Schryvers of Madison, SD, Robert Schryvers, and wife, Lynda, of Rapid City, SD; sister, Marliss Sheffield and husband, Ed, of Madison, SD; also nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and a brother, Herman, who died in infancy.
