Lucy Dunn, age 102, died May 30, at the Aurora Brule Nursing Home in White Lake. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Peters Catholic Church in White Lake at 10:30 AM on Friday, June 3, 2005. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday with a rosary/vigil service at 7:30 PM at the church in White Lake. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Will Funeral Chapel. Lucy Elizabeth was born September 27, 1902 in White Lake to Susan (Rechtfertig) and Chris Reinesch. On October 25, 1921, she was married to Peter Hettinger. Peter died December 19, 1934. Lucy married Glenn Dunn November 10, 1936. Glenn died May 9, 1981. During her married life, Lucy lived on a farm south of White Lake and attended St. Willibrords Catholic Church. In 1992, she entered the Aurora Brule Nursing Home. Her great enjoyment in life was her family. She loved to crochet afghans for everyone. She is survived by three sons, Gerald Hettinger and wife, Margaret, White Lake, Robert Dunn, White Lake, Ronald Dunn and wife, Joan, White Lake; three daughters, Margaret Hettinger Haines, Platte, SD, Mary Ann Dunn Ries and husband, Eugene, White Lake, Jean Dunn Biteler and husband, Emroy, Marshall, MN, and daughter-in-law, Arlette Ries Hettinger, Mitchell. Lucy has twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren, one step great granddaughter, two great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Peter and Glenn, three infant sons, Norbert, Lawrence and George, a son, Lawrence Hettinger, son-in-law, Loren Haines, a sister, Teresa (Mrs. Ed Tracy, three brothers, Frank Reinesch, Lawrence Reinesch and Albert Reinesch.
