Loren R. Roth, 82, of Alexandria, South Dakota, passed away on December 5, 2025.  Loren will be put to rest in Bridgewater, South Dakota.  A private family and invited neighbor gathering is planned for the morning of Saturday, December 20, 2025.  The public is welcome to stop and pay respects to the family from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Granite Springs Lodge 25840 422nd Ave., Alexandria, SD 57311.

He was born and raised on a farm near Parkston area, by the late Henry & Othillia (Landenberger) Roth.

Loren grew up with nine siblings, including the following who have passed before him: three sisters, Virginia (Albert) Dorale of Spencer, Arlene (Floyd) Colwell of Rapid City, and Adelia Roth (died as an infant); and six brothers, Wyman (Mary) Roth of Sioux City, IA/NE, Wilmar (Jeraldine) Roth of Pender, NE, (Wilmar & Wyman were 1st set of twins) Charles Roth of Parkston, SD, and Russell (Arlene) Roth of Parkston.

He is survived by two brothers, Darald (Diana) of Mitchell and his twin brother, Orrin (Alice) Roth of Alexandria.

He was married to Diane R (Novak) and they lived on a farm south Alexandria as they raised six children.

The first born, Lonnie (Kathy) Roth now resides in Faribault, MN after living many years in Ethan, SD where he was a well know carpenter at Ethan Lumber.  They raised four children and now have four grandchildren.

Lorrie was the first-born daughter, resides in Letcher, SD with spouse Tim, and they raised two children. Lorrie & her husband are businessowners of the Northside Sinclair in Mitchell, SD.

Ronnie (Renee) Roth live in Alexandria, SD they raised two girls and now have two grandchildren.  Ron is working for the Hanson County.

Karmon (John) Hoiten still reside in Canistota, SD and they have one daughter that resides in Hartford with her two boys.  Karmon works as an insurance agent in Salem, SD for Randy Sabers Insurance Agency.

Kevin Roth resides in Mitchell with his girlfriend, Melissa.  He has three sons.

Danny (Michel) Roth raise their three boys on the farm that Loren and Diane raised their children.  He continues to carry on the farming tradition with his family.

The Roth (Landenberger) family is pretty big, so there are too many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and outlaws to mention.  What is most known about the surviving Roth family is their sense of humor, the deep love for one another and the support our loved ones give us to carry on.
