Obituary
Lois F. Schneekloth, 80, Mitchell, formerly of Kanaranzi, MN, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Firesteel Health Center, Mitchell.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010, at Will Funeral Chapel, Mitchell.
She was born October 31, 1929, in Hardwick, MN. to Fredrick and Matilda (Klemm) Zoellner.
She grew up in Kanaranzi, MN, and attended school in Magnolia, MN.
On November 19, 1947, she married Charles A. Schneekloth, in Luverne, MN. They lived in Luverne until 1963, when they moved to Sioux Falls. She worked at Walgreens and Arkota Ballroom until they moved to Medford, OR, in 1977. In 1987 they moved to Salem, OR, and in 1995 moved back to SD. Lois recently lived at Cathedral Square, Mitchell.
Lois is survived by two sons: Larry and wife Kathy, of Calgary, Alberta; and Gordon of Keizer, OR; three daughters: Dawne Wold and husband Jim, of Mitchell, Danette Gunn of Sioux Falls, and Melinda Schneekloth of Sioux Falls; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, 3 brothers, 1 sister, and her parents.
