Lillian Ruth Joachim was born August 28, 1919 to Rassus and Olava (Karlson) Peterson. She was schooled in Mitchell where she graduated.

She married Patrick Wilfred Joachim who passed away in 1977. They made their home in Mitchell where they raised their son, John.

Lillian love to clean houses and had jobs as a housekeeper for many years. Lillian lived a long life, seeing over 100 years.  She spent the last five years at Firesteel Health Care and before that lived thirty years in assisted living, where she cooked broccoli, potatoes and pork roast almost daily.

She loved and cherished her family and came from a family of nine brothers and sisters.

Grateful for having shared her life is her son, John (Bonita) Joachim, granddaughter, Jennifer (Bret) Christianson, great granddaughter Tehra Christianson, brother, Willy (Carmen) Peterson and sister, Gladys Lumb.

Lillian is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and seven siblings.
