Lee Alexander Prince, 58, of Linden, VA passed away at his home away from home in Letcher, SD on Friday June 28, 2024.

Lee was born July 1, 1965 in San Bernardino, California. He proudly served in the United States Navy for 23 years, is a veteran of the Gulf War, and reached the enlisted rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer before his retirement in 2007. Thereafter, he worked guiding other veterans in using their educational benefits, and he completed a bachelor's degree in Human Resources. Lee enjoyed hunting with his father and brother, making people laugh, and providing support when his family needed him.

Lee is survived by his mother, Noralee Prince; brother, David Prince; children: Krista, Jena, Alexa, Jonathan Prince; Courtney (Aaron) Hawkins, and his grandchildren Mason Parker; Caleb and Marshall Hawkins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alexander Prince.

A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association.
