Kyle Dean Oehlerking, age 48, of Mt. Vernon, SD died Friday July 16, 2004 at his home. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday at the Will Funeral Chapel with burial at Westlawn Cemetery in Letcher. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Will Funeral Chapel. Kyle Dean son of Otto and Lola Mae (Rydjord) Oehlerking, was born December 7, 1955 in Huron, SD. He lived in Letcher until the age of 10, when the family moved to Mitchell. Kyle attended school in Letcher and Mitchell. He was united in marriage with Becky Bollack on May 24, 1980 in Mitchell, SD. Kyle was the owner operator of Oehlerking Dry Wall. He loved his grandson, Noah, and his dog, Kitty. He was fond of his Harley Davidson motorcycle, attending the annual motorcycle rally at Sturgis and one of his favorite things was fishing in the Jim River. Survivors include two daughters, Kristina Oehlerking and her fiance John Hagman Mt. Vernon, SD, Michelle Oehlerking, Mitchell, SD; a grandson, Noah; brothers and sisters, Bonnie Hulbert, Rapid City, SD, Kathy Northrup and her husband, Delbert, Letcher, SD, Otto Oehlerking III and his wife, Carol, Rapid City, SD, Dale Oehlerking and his wife, Elaine, Lakeville, MN, Jewel Wielander and her husband, Ron, Sturgis, SD, Kirk Oehlerking and his wife, Delores, Green Forest, AR; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
