Obituary

Kenneth Aren Jorgensen was born at the Yankton Sacred Heart Hospital on January 15, 1973 to Wally and Lynn (Olson) Jorgensen weighing 6 lbs 13 oz and ended up growing to 6 ft 6 in. Before Ken lived in Sapulpa, OK, he lived in Mitchell, SD. He passed away in Tulsa, OK as a result of a motorcycle accident on June 8, 2015. Ken was a 1991 graduate of Mitchel Senior High School and Mitchell Vo-Tech for welding. Ken worked at Trail King in Mitchell for several years after graduating as a welder. In High School, Ken did yard work for Ron and Char Randall and Mr. and Mrs. Wingfield. Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing, paintball, free wheel bike riding with his group of people, motorcycle riding, playing pool, cooking, BBQ, canning, and camping. Ken owned his own business in Sapulpa, OK doing permanent siding and 4 season rooms. He enjoyed his work and was very proud of each and every project. Everything had to be perfect, as if it was his own. Knowing it belonged to someone else. Perfection was his key to his work. Ken is survived by his mother, Lynn Termeer of Mitchell; brother Brint (BJ) (Kim) Jorgensen and family of Mitchell; sisters Amy Jorgensen and family of Mitchell, Sherry (Steve) Stevenson and family of Broken Arrow, OK and Krystal (Travis) Kubal and family of Winner, SD; two sons Myles Hunter and Sheldon (Sierra) Lynn and one grandson Brantley; uncles Bob Olson of Mitchell and Jack Walton of Glendale, CA, aunts and uncles Les (Shirley) Jorgensen of Forest Ranch, CA, Robert (Helen) Jorgensen of Chamberlain, SD, Nancy (Gerald) Martin of Orland, CA and Leah Jo (Rob) Rogenoff of Hillsbord, OR; nieces and nephews Mason, Tanner, Caleb, Molle, Sage, Victoria, Fabian, Jeremy, Milinda, Destannie, Matrix and Josh ; cousins and friends; special aunt's Carol and Connie; aunt Shirley Olson of Worthington, MN.; special hunting buddies Mick Schultz and his son Matthew, Lynn Schutlz and sons Rylee, Baullee, Bradlee, Shillbee; and a very special cook for hunting season, granny Schultz (Mary Ett) for all the great times and for being like family. Ken's favorite food was chicken, also the last thing he ate before he died. Ken was preceded in death by his father, Wally Jorgensen of Chico CA, his grandparents Melvin Olson, of Fulton and Mitchell, Betty (Martin Olson) Marvin of Ames, IA, Harold Jorgensen of Mitchell, Bill and Evelyn Donnally of Berry Creek, CA; grandma Marilyn; special aunt Peggy and many other aunts and uncles. Ken will always be remember for the beautiful, sparkling, baby blue eyes, and his smile, for being a giving person with a great golden heart, who could eat like a horse and never gain any weight, 6 foot 6 and slim, and very loving person, and Big Bear Hugs. Rest in peace, always remembered, never forgotten.
