Judith Ann Scott, age 55 of Artesian, died Friday, October 28, 2005 at her home in Artesian. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, November 3 at St. Agatha Catholic Church in Howard with burial to follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Howard. Visitation will be from 5 to 7PM Tuesday at the church with a prayer service beginning at 6:30. Arrangements are under the direction of the Will Funeral Chapel. Judy was born on June 24, 1950 to Erwin and Imogene (Hansen) Callies in Madison, SD. She grew up in Howard and attended school at St. Agatha Catholic School and Howard public school. She worked on and off as a waitress for 20 years in the Howard area. She was married to Del Scott on June 25, 1994. Judy had lived with cancer for 6 years and returned home to Artesian to live out the rest of her days. She is survived by Del Callies, 3 brothers: Ervan Callies (Nancy) of Brainard, MN; Lionel Callies (Janene) of Big Lake, MN; Gerald Callies (Sandy) of New Prague, MN She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother Marlin and 6 infant siblings.
