Judith Kay Heintz, age 73, of Mitchell, SD died Monday, May 4, 2015 at Diamond Care Center, Bridgewater, SD. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Mitchell with burial at New Home Cemetery, Mitchell, SD. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the Will Funeral Chapel. Judith Kay Holborn, daughter of Clarence and Gyda (Goodwin) Holborn, was born September 2, 1941 in Mitchell, SD. She grew up and received her education in Mitchell, graduating from Mitchell High School in 1959. Judith was united in marriage with William Heintz on January 2, 1960 in Mitchell, SD. They made their home in Mitchell until moving to Bridgewater, SD in 2011. Judy's career began at the Davison County Assessor's Office in 1959 retiring after 37 years of service in 1996 as a certified land appraiser. In their retirement the couple wintered in Florida for five years. She enjoyed going to coffee with her sisters, socializing with friends and bowling. Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, William Heintz, Bridgewater, SD; two sons, Mike (Laurie) Heintz, Sioux Falls, SD, Jason (Cheri Davis) Heintz, Sioux Falls, SD; four grandchildren; two sisters, Karen (Delmer) Webb, Mitchell, SD, Linda Goodwin, Mitchell, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents; a nephew, Gene Webb; and a niece, Cindy Fellows.
