John F. Robertson, 67, of Alexandria SD, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at his residence under hospice care.

John was born May 12, 1954 in Norfolk, VA to John W. and Maude (Clark) Robertson.  He attended school in Mitchell, SD.  After school he joined the U.S. Navy, serving for 23 years in submarine service.

After retirement he worked as a school bus driver for Mitchell and Hanson County Schools.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife of 44 years, Linda, children, Thomas Michael (Monica) Brown, Daniel Robertson, Wesley (Tasha) Robertson, Jessica Robertson, grandchildren, Nick, Ashley, Zach, Jellci, Tiana, Raya, Harley, Sean, Marcus, Kolbi, Memphis, and one great grandchild, Asher.

John was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Susan Schumm, Delores Thomas, Barb Mendenhall, son, Samuel Brown, and grandson, Thomas Brown Jr.
