Joan Lee Wehde Bludorn, age 68, of Mitchell, died May 24, 2006, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday at the Will Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in St. Peters Catholic Cemetery at Platte. Joan was born on May 3, 1938, at Platte, South Dakota to Alfred and Leone (Delire) Wehde. She attended school at Notre Dame in Mitchell and graduated from high school in 1956. She attended South Dakota State College in Brookings and became a Registered Nurse. She was a member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by a son, Michael Ricci and wife, Diane of Erie, PA; four grandchildren, Rebecca Ricci, Danielle Ricci, Michael Ricci Jr, and Daniel Ricci, all of Erie, PA; six great grandchildren: Nicolette Strickland, Keenan Strickland, and Kaitlynn Strickland and Tyler Majersky, Khiley Majersky, Gabrielle Majersky all of Erie, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents.
