Jeffrey "Jeff" Snyder, 46, of Mitchell, SD died May 21, 2012 at Avera Queen of Peace of a massive heart attack. Visitation will be held at the Will Funeral Chapel, Friday, May 25, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Memorial Service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Mitchell. Jeffrey "Jeff" Snyder, son of Dale and Rita (Roemen) Snyder, was born November 9, 1965 in Sioux Falls, SD. He attended Mitchell High School and Mitchell VoTech, graduating in 1984. Jeff was united in marriage with Eryn Greenfield on January 17, 1996 in Deadwood, SD and shortly made their home in Mitchell, SD. Through their union were born four wonderful boys into their family, Roman age 11, Micah age 9, Dale age 6, and Greyson 3 weeks old. He was a very loving and attentive daddy. Jeff was co-owner, with his brother Shane, of Concrete Construction of Mitchell Inc. for 10 years, until a knee injury forced him to change professions. Recently Jeff worked at Smart Choice Hearing Centers in Mitchell and Sioux Falls for the last 3 years as a Hearing Aid Dispenser. He thoroughly loved working with people and enjoyed helping them improve their lives. Jeff was an active member of the Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed taking his family hunting, fishing, camping and snowmobiling. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Eryn Snyder and their children, Mitchell, SD; his mother, Rita Snyder, Mitchell, SD; three brothers, Shane Snyder and his wife Tami, Ethan, SD, Jason Snyder and his wife, Lea, Omaha, NE, Joshua Snyder and his wife, Laura, Sioux Falls, SD; a sister, Lea Hamon and her husband, Brent, Plattsmouth, NE; a brother-in-law, Paul O'Leary, St. Paul, MN; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
