Janice Faye Wolf, age 82, of Mitchell, SD died Monday, October 30, 2023 at Avera Brady Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, November 6, 2023 at First Lutheran Church in Mitchell with burial at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, November 5, 2023 at the Will Funeral Chapel.

Janice Faye Wolf, daughter of Wendell and Viola (Titze) Sorvaag, was born June 6, 1941 in Mitchell, SD. She grew up and attended school in Mt. Vernon, SD, graduating from Mt. Vernon High School.

She was united in marriage to Marc Miller on January 10, 1960. The couple made their home in the Rapid City area, while Marc was serving in the US Air Force.

Janice was later united in marriage with Paul "Zeke" Wolf on March 24, 1973 in Vermillion, SD. The couple made their home in Alexandria, SD. Janice was employed at Graham Tire, and Montgomery Wards with her mother. She later served as Alexandria City Finance Officer. Janice retired after 35 years of service with the City of Alexandria. She was also employed at the Alexandria Sale Barn and clerked for auctions.

Janice enjoyed gardening, canning and was an avid Viking and Twins fan.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Mitchell.

Grateful for having share her life are her two sons, Rodnie (Ann) Miller, Mitchell, SD, Randi (Heather) Miller, Sioux Falls, SD; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Delores Sorvaag, Sioux Falls SD and Ila Jean Larson, Texas; an aunt, Marlene Swanson, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; a brother, Donald Sorvaag; her parents; a son, Robert; a granddaughter, Amelia Miller and a great granddaughter, Meela Miller.
