Janice B. Anderson age 79, of Mitchell, SD died Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Avera Brady Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, June 21, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the Will Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Janice B. Anderson daughter of Charles and Julia (Cunningham) Huber, was born September 6, 1939 in Mitchell, SD. She graduated from Alexandria High School in 1957.

Janice was united in marriage with Larry Anderson on June 4, 1960 in Alexandria, SD. Janice started her career at the  Daily Republic and did home daycare while raising her children. She went to work when Ronnie started kindergarten. She worked at the Mitchell Senior High in food service for many years. After retiring from the Mitchell School District, she loved her part time jobs. These included Nepstad's, the Corn Palace and doing greeting cards at Walmart. No matter where she was, she enjoyed working with others.

Grateful for sharing her life with Larry and her children and grandchildren are her brother Jim Huber, Parker, SD, son Steve (Julie) Anderson, Mitchell, SD., daughter Lori (Jeff) Alf, Tracy, MN., daughter Becky Anderson, Mitchell, SD.; six grandchildren Dustin Schrank, Corsica, SD., Rob Schrank, Corsica, SD., Matt  Schrank (Natasha), Mitchell, SD., Brandi Anderson, Mitchell, SD., Kristi Anderson (Caleb), Mitchell, SD. and William Alf, Tracy, MN.; great-grandchildren Bentley, Acaydias, Chloe and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Larry, son Ronnie, parents, brothers Delton Huber and Earl Huber.
