Helen Weller went to her heavenly home Sunday, November 29, 2020 at her home after battling liver disease for eight years.  Per her request, no funeral services are planned.

Helen was born in Mitchell, SD to Lex and Mildred (Justman) Weller on September 26, 1953.  She grew up and graduated from Plankinton High School in 1971.

She worked at Daily Dental in Mitchell for a few years before moving west to Montana where she gave birth to her son, Adam.  Helen then moved to the Keystone area where she worked at the Rushmore Borglum gift shop.  From there she moved back to Mitchell in 1987 where she met her significant other, Brad Messer.  Together the couple purchased a cleaning company, which they ran until Helen's health started failing and she could no longer be a part of the business.

Grateful for having shared her life is the love of her life, Brad Messer, son, Adam Hunsaker, three brothers, Russ (Jean), Pat (Marlean), Bill (Margaret), five sisters, Barb Miller and friend Rich, Judy (Bob) Nickles, Kathy (Doug) Janzen, Teresa (Kurt) Venekamp, Lisa (Terry) Muhs as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and a nephew.
