Hazel B. Creech, age 84, of Sioux Falls, SD (formerly of Mitchell, SD) died Monday, March 23, 2015 at Sanford Medical Center, Sioux Falls, SD. Private graveside services will be held at the American Legion Cemetery in Mitchell, SD. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Will Funeral Chapel. Hazel B. Creech, daughter of Raymond and Lillie (Wendelboe) Johnson Everson, was born December 5, 1930 in Alexandria, SD. She grew up and received her schooling in Mitchell. Hazel was united in marriage and the couple made their home in Mitchell. Hazel was a homemaker and raised their children. She was employed at Chef Louis for a time. In 1998, Hazel moved to Canton, SD and in 2012 she moved to Sioux Falls, SD. She was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Hazel was a great cook and gardener. She will be remembered as a loving mother who raised her three children. Grateful for having shared her life are her three children, Lynette (George) Flitcraft, Bullhead City, AZ, Gary (Cathy) Munger, Cross Lake, MN, Dawn Creech, Canton, SD; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Creech on December 11, 1990; her parents; and a sister, Thelma.
