Harlan Dale Miller, age 63, of Mitchell, SD died Saturday, December 2, 2023 as a result of an automobile accident. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 8, 2023 at the Harvest Community Church in Mitchell, SD with burial at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, December 8, 2023 at the Harvest Community Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Will Funeral Chapel.

Harlan Dale Miller was born on February 22, 1960 in Sioux Falls SD to Lyman and Maurine (Osthus) Miller.  He grew up on the farm north of Parker SD, and graduated from Parker High School in 1980.  He attended Mitchell Technical Institute for one year.

He married Delores Wells on July 9, 1983. To this union one daughter, Ashley, was born. They moved to Mitchell SD where he began working at Jack's Campers in 1986, and was still working there at the time of his death.  He cherished the many friends he made at Jack's Campers, and his church family at Harvest Community Church in Mitchell.

Grateful for having shared his life are his daughter Ashley (Jon) Hubregtse, Summerset SD, grandson Eli, Grandaughter Mya, Sister Marilyn Plooster, Sioux Falls, Brothers Kenneth (Jeanine) Miller, Parker, Marvin (Paula) Miller, Parker, Timothy (Harfiz) Miller, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyman and Maurine Miller, brother Leslie Miller, sister-in-law Beverly Miller, and brother-in-law Norman Plooster.
