Gregory Hoyt, 60 of White Lake formerly of Mitchell died Monday, December 8, 2008 at Avera McKennan in Sioux Falls. Memorial services will be 10:30 AM Saturday at the Will Funeral Chapel. Greg Hoyt's friends and family are invited to gather at Lynn and Marilyn Odland's farm starting at 6:00 pm, Friday December 12, 2008. From Mitchell Middle School 2 ½ miles west, long drive north. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Gregory Gene Hoyt , son of Eugene and Bette (Henzlik) Hoyt, was born November 20, 1948 in Mitchell, SD. He attended Beulah #27 country grade school and graduated from Mitchell High School.

On April 21, 1967 he married Mary Crelly in Mitchell,SD.

He farmed with his father, worked as an insurance salesman, and spent most of his time as a cross country truck driver. He loved coffee time, visiting with friends and family, hunting, rebuilding and driving old muscle cars (the louder the better).

He is survived by a daughter, Michelle, Sioux Falls, SD; a son Daniel, Omaha, NE; one grandson, Alex Hoyt, Omaha, NE; two brothers, Gary, Poway, CA; Glen, Mansfield, TX; one sister, Marilyn Odland, Mitchell, SD; nephews Zachary, and Dominic Hoyt, Mansfield TX; nieces, Heather Hoyt, and Trisha Lamouree, Santee, CA; Nichole Johnson, Aberdeen, SD; Jonathon, and Alicia Odland, Mitchell, SD.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents.
