Obituary
Gertrude Hopf, age 86, of Mitchell, SD died Monday, November 23, 2015 at Firesteel Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Will Funeral Chapel with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Artesian, SD. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Will Funeral Chapel.
Gertrude Hopf, daughter of Carl and Edna (Schneider) Hopf, was born July 12, 1929 in rural Artesian, SD. She grew up in the Artesian area. She was employed in the Laundry Department at St. Joseph Hospital and at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital.
Survivors include her sister, Fern Maeschen, Mitchell, SD; 10 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
