Frances Lucille (Kayser) Fabian, 86, of Rosemount, Minnesota, passed away on July 31, 2023 after struggling with congestive heart failure, surrounded by her loving family. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Friday, August 4, 2023 at St Mary of Mercy Catholic Church in Alexandria, SD; visitation will begin one hour prior. Burial will be in St Mary of Mercy Cemetery.

Born on January 18, 1937 to Felix and Sophia Kayser in Alexandria, South Dakota, she was the youngest of 10 siblings. After attending and graduating from Alexandria High School, she went on to study at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and achieved a master's degree in occupational therapy.

Frances loved engaging with and helping people. She served in the St. Paul School District in a 25-year career as a speech therapist and facilitator, touching and inspiring many. She also enjoyed a successful, award-winning career as an independent consultant with Mary Kay.

Frances and Martin Fabian Jr. married in 1972. They spent 31 wonderful years together in St. Paul, Mendota Heights and Rosemount, Minnesota with their daughter, Rosemarie Fabian Hamilton.

In retirement, Frances enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. She had a passion for scrapbooking and beautifully captured many memories in her efforts. She also found enjoyment watching the Hallmark channel and doing crossword puzzles.

Her love, devotion and beautiful smile will be greatly missed by Daughter, Rosemarie Fabian Hamilton, Granddaughter, Alexis Rose Hamilton, Sister Rosemary Boehmer (Linus); and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by Husband, Martin A. Fabian, Jr.; Parents, Felix and Sophia Kayser; Siblings, Verna (Kayser) Gasper, Louis Kayser, Rita (Kayser) Mowry, George Kayser, Rev. Leonard Kayser, Sr. Verna Kayser (Leona) OSF, Geraldine (Kayser) Thill and Bernard Kayser.
