Elvera Grabenstein Oehlerking  age 92, formerly of Letcher, SD died Friday, March 4, 2016 at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville, IN. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Letcher Community Church in Letcher. Visitation will be from noon until time of service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery in Letcher. Will Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Elvera was born April 29, 1923 in Dakota City, NE to Otto and Sara (Goodwin) Oehlerking. She married Albert Grabenstein and to this union were six children.

Elvera retired in the middle 80's from factory work in Plymouth, MI and currently resided at the Presence Sacred Heart Home in Avilla, IN where she enjoyed playing cards, making crafts and playing bingo.

Grateful for sharing her life are her children Barry Grabenstein of TX, Deanna Sieler of MI, Janele Tolley of TX and Karda Shoults of IN; brothers Milton Oehlerking and Jerry Oehlerking of SD; sisters Nadine VanLaecken of TX and Naomi McCormick of PA. Elvera was blessed with many loving family members and grandchildren into the 5th generation.

Elvera was preceded in death by her parents; two sons Jody and Doyle; brothers Lloyd and Otto; grandson Keith.
