Elsie E. Titze, age 95, of Mitchell, died Friday, June 17th at Avera Brady Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Monday, June 20th, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Mitchell with burial at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Services are under the direction of the Will Funeral Chapel. Elsie Estherene Titze (Triebwasser) was born August 27, 1915 in Delmont, SD to William and Louise (Boettcher) Triebwasser. She was baptized October 3, 1915 at Zion Lutheran Church in Delmont, SD by Rev. Chris Wieting. Elsie lived on a farm near Delmont until 1937 when she married Albert A Titze of Mitchell, SD. They were married June 16th 1937 at Zion Lutheran Church in Delmont by Rev. Chris Wieting. She worked at a retirement home and Knodel Jewelry until retirement in 1976. As a founding member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Elsie served on various committees and held numerous offices within the church. To this union three children were born; Donna and husband Howard Fett, Plankinton, SD Cherie and husband Dennis Hellwig, Aberdeen, SD James and wife Linda, Minneapolis, MN. Survivors also include 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert, six brothers and five sisters.
