Elizabeth P. (Gebhart) Vittitoe, age 64, of Dimock, SD died Sunday, July 6, 2014 at St. Benedict Hospital in Parkston, SD. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at the Will Funeral Chapel with burial at Calvary Cemetery in Mitchell, SD. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday at the Will Funeral Chapel with a prayer service at 6:30 PM Elizabeth P. Vittitoe, daughter of Ralph and Phyllis (Kewley) Gebhart, was born in Miles City, MT. She grew up in Miles City and graduated from Custer County High School in Miles City. Elizabeth moved to Mitchell, SD in 1972. She was united in marriage with James Vittitoe on November 22, 1975 in Mitchell, SD. Elizabeth was employed at Methodist Hospital as a dietician for several years. In 1998 she moved to Wagner, SD then retired to Dimock, SD in 2008. Elizabeth loved her pets especially her dogs. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching old western movies. Grateful for having shared her life are her daughter, Heather Vittitoe and her fiancé Ryan West, Sioux Falls, SD; two grandchildren, Dante Sixtoes and Alysha Vining, Sioux Falls, SD; three brothers, William Gebhart, Mitchell, SD Gerald Gebhart, Mitchell, SD, John Gebhart, Aberdeen, SD; a sister, Kathryn Buchholz and her husband, Myron, Sioux Falls, SD; a niece, Tiffany Buchholz-Vanhove and her husband, Rev. Kyle Vanhove, Brandon, SD; one great niece, Paige Buchholz, Brandon, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Elizabeth's name.
