Elizabeth Mary Kelly (Van Overschelde) 52 of Mitchell passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the Golden Living Nursing Home in Salem after struggling with a long illness. Funeral services are 10:30 AM Tuesday April 24, 2007 at Will Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at St. Scholasticas Cemetery in Letcher. Visitation will be from 6 -8 PM at Will Funeral Chapel with prayer beginning at 7:00. She was born on April 9, 1955 at Mitchell to Mary (Harding) and the late Leonard Van Overschelde. She graduated from Letcher High School in 1974. She married Bruce Kelly on June 19, 1976 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Mitchell. They had two children: Brenda and Bobbi. Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, little children and shopping. She is survived by her daughters Brena (Brenda) Banks and husband Trent, Hartford, SD, and Bobbi Kelly and her special friend Doug Arnold and one precious grandchild Abigail, Des Moines, IA; her mother, Mary VanOverschelde, Mitchell, SD; three brothers: Eugene and wife Nancy, Coppell, TX, Darrell of Letcher; Loren and wife Julie of Letcher, five sisters: Margaret Timp of Sioux Falls, Janet Timp of Pierre, Phyllis Wright of Crystal, MN; Pat Guse and husband Ray of Watertown, MN; Beverly Ferguson and husband Perry of Ft. Dodge, IA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard VanOverschelde; a brother, Virgil and his wife and family; and a sister, Eilene VanOverschelde.
