Duane Leland Morgan age 73, of Corsica, SD died Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Good Samaritan Society Nursing Home in Corsica, SD. Memorials services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Will Funeral Chapel with burial at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday at the Will Funeral Chapel.

Duane Leland Morgan, son of Russell and Vera (Williams) Morgan, was born May 29, 1950 in Pickstown, SD. He attended school in Geddes thru high school and then two years at Southern College in Springfield, SD.  He was united in marriage with Sue Strehlow on June 14, 1969.

Duane worked for Midwest Cheese for many years. He will be remembered for his witty sense of humor.

He loved hunting with his family and friends. A special thanks to Dick Bordewyk for his special attention and taking Duane out for rides and taking to his appointments.

Grateful of having shared his life are his two children, Shelly (Scot) Sangster, Yankton, SD, Shane (Jen Bates) Morgan, Elkhorn, NE; his grandchildren, Jessica (Rob) Bonner, Sioux Falls, SD, Zachary (Heather) Sangster, Sioux Falls, SD, Bridger Morgan, Elkhorn, NE, Piper Morgan, Elkhorn, NE; five great grandchildren, Sander, Ayden, Silas, Harper and Sydney; his former spouse, Sue Bamberg, Corsica, SD; a sister, Charlene (Bryan) Sejnoha, Lakeville, MN; a brother, Craig Morgan, St. Louis, MO; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Chad Morgan; a great granddaughter, Samantha Sangster; his parents; and a special friend, Sharon Freeman.
