Dorothy Morgan, daughter of Hugh and Eleanor (Bowar) Morgan, was born Friday, February 13, 1925 in Parkston, SD. She attended rural school in Davison County near her home and graduated from Letcher High School in 1943. From 1943 until 1946, she was employed by W.L. Comstock Real Estate and Insurance in Mitchell, SD. From 1946 until 1956, she was employed in the offices of Drs. Boyden and Kappenman, DDS.
On August 20, 1956, she married Charles J. Graves of Artesian, SD and lived there until 1990, when the couple relocated part-time to Mesa, AZ. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Mitchell and Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mesa, AZ, and was a life time member of the Elks Lodge.
Survivors include her two sons, Dennis Graves, Phoenix, AZ and Larry Graves, Sioux Falls, SD; a granddaughter, Morgan, Clovis, CA; a niece, Patricia (Milton) Siebelts, Huron, SD; and a nephew, Richard (Diane) Roster, Huntley, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents in 1948 and 1974; her husband, Charles on January 7, 2004; and her sister, Phylis Roster on June 12, 2008.
