Dorothy Christensen, age 81, of Aberdeen, died January 17 at Manor Care Center in Aberdeen after a battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday at the Will Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 9 AM until the time of the service on Saturday. Burial will be in St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery, rural Dimock. Dorothy was born on December 15, 1926, in Davison County to William and Clara (Goldammer) Moke. She was baptized on January 3, 1927, and confirmed at Hillside Lutheran Church on April 14, 1940. She married Harry Schultz and a son, Albert was born to this union. In 1976, Dorothy married Marvin Christensen and they made their home in Aberdeen. Dorothy loved music and enjoyed playing the organ. She also enjoyed having pictures of all her friends and family around her. She is survived by her husband, Marvin, son, Albert, Mt. Vernon,SD, two grandchildren, a niece, Jeanette Mathis, Sundance, Wyoming, two nephews: Delmer Hemeyer and wife, Grace and Gail Hemeyer (Midge) Spearfish, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one sister and her first husband.
