Doris Hanneman, age 80, of Mitchell, SD, died March 13, 2006 at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 25, 2006 at the Will Funeral Chapel. Doris was born November 18, 1925 in Douglas County, SD to Louis and Matilda (Boreson) Konze. She grew up on a farm and attended country school in Douglas County. She attended high school in Delmont, SD for two years and graduated Parkston High School in 1943. She married Robert Hanneman December 18, 1950 at Mitchell. She started her employment at Armours in 1946 and continued after her marriage. In 1955, she and her husband moved to Brookings, SD and in 1960 moved to rural Tucson, AZ. They lived in various cities because of Bobs job. After his retirement, they moved to Mitchell in 1995. Doris enjoyed collecting angels and copperware and doing things with her husband. She is survived by her husband, Bob, of Mitchell; her children: Joyce Shoemaker and husband, Bob and Jerrold Hanneman and wife, Christine, all of Seattle, Washington; three grandchildren: Korey, Jason, and Kelly and two great grandchildren: William Berg and Aidan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her only sister, Eileen.
