Donna Wold, age 88, of Mitchell, SD passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with burial at Servicemen's Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Will Funeral Chapel.

Donna Frankman, daughter of Roy and Mayme (Divney) Frankman, was born May 7, 1928 in Sioux Falls, SD. She attended catholic school in Sioux Falls, graduating from Cathedral High School in 1946.

Donna was united in marriage with Howard Wold in 1948 in Sioux Falls, SD. The couple lived in Vermillion and later made their home in Mitchell. Donna was a homemaker and raised their two daughters; later she was employed at Dr. Unzicker for 28 years.

She and Howard enjoyed wintering in Mesa, AZ and taking vacations. Donna enjoyed socializing, golfing, swimming and walked every day.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Mitchell and a former member of the Elks Lodge.

Grateful for  having shared her life are her two daughters, Linda (Rick) Moon, Sioux Falls, SD, Laurie (Barry) Doherty, Sioux Falls, SD; three grandchildren, Aimee (Christopher) Holman, Minnetonka, MN, Brandon (Leigh) Moon, Sioux Falls, SD, Alexis (Eric) Boyce, Sioux Falls, SD; three great grandchildren, Hudson Holman, Minnetonka, MN, Mia Moon, Sioux Falls, SD, Erica Mae Boyce, Sioux Falls, SD; two sisters, Mary Nygaard, Banning, CA and Theresa Hall, Omaha, NE and special friend Howard Way, Alamo, CA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard on May 28, 2009; her parents; and three brothers, Wayne, Roy and Bill.
