Donna Kayser, 75, of Mitchell, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Firesteel Health Care. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Will Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, July 5, 2013 at the Will Funeral Chapel with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Fr. Michael Schneider will be the celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary of Mercy Catholic Cemetery in Alexandria. Donna Mae was born on November 18, 1937 to Joseph and Helen (Guischer) Aulner in Alexandria, SD. She attended Pleasant #3 country school and then graduated from Alexandria High School. She lived in Alexandria for 18 years and married Donald Jonnassen on August 12, 1955 in Alexandria, SD at St. Mary of Mercy. They lived in Ottawa, Ill. until returning to Mitchell in 1966. After her divorce in 1971 She then married Walter Kayser on July 31, 1985 in Deadwood, SD. She was a waitress at the Holiday Inn for 28 years and also worked at the Good Will for 5 years until her retirement. Donna was a member at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church and she enjoyed crocheting, reading, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Grateful to have shared in Donna's Life are her children; Rhonda (Bob) Smith, Kenny Jonnassen, and Timothy Jonnassen all of Mitchell, SD; one brother Roger Aulner of Alexandria, SD; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Donna is preceded into death by her parents, both of her husbands, a daughter in infancy Laurie Ann Jonnassen, and a son in infancy Donald Jonnassen, Jr.
