Don Brink, son of Donald L. and Patricia (Lynde) Brink, was born September 1, 1953 in Mitchell, SD. He grew up and received his schooling in Mitchell. Don lived in Mitchell his whole life, and was employed at Trail King Industries for 30 years. He enjoyed attending his grandkids plays, dance recitalsand ball games. Fishing for bass, walleye and salmon at the river. Golfing in Trail King league with friends and his wife. Riding motorcycles with friends and going to Sturgis for the rally. Don loved spending time with family and friends and a good party, especially his milestone birthdays. He belonged to the Dakota Prairie Dart League for 34 years. He was involved in poolleagues with the Moose Lodge for many years. Don is survived byhis wife Sharonof 42 years; two daughters, Tera Richard (Doug) Of Deadwood, SD, Angie Veldman (Jeremy) of Spearfish, SD; four grandchildren, Alexis Richards andAyden, Wyatt, Rylee Veldman; his mother, Patricia Brink, of Mitchell, SD; three sisters, Kathy Tietz (Bill) of Rapid City, SD, Leanne Rubin (Bill) of Parkston, SD, Ronda Bartscher, of Sioux Falls, SD; three brothers, Nick Brink (Deb) of Mitchell, SD, Jerry Brink (Lydia) of Brandon, SD, Tony Brink (Char) of Mitchell, SD; his mother in law, Luella Gackle of Parkston, SD; a brother in law, Stan Gackle of Fergus Falls, MN; a sister in law, Bev Simek (Bruce) of Tyndall, SD and a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, father in law, infant sibling and two nephews.
