Diane Cynthia Reinfeld, daughter of Andrew and Marjorie (Michaelsen) Prickett, was born April 16, 1957, in Mitchell, SD. She grew up and attended school in Ethan, SD. Diane was united in marriage with David Reinfeld on April 10, 1976, in Mitchell, SD. The couple made their home in Ethan, SD until Diane later moved to Mitchell, SD, in December 2020.
After attending business school in Minneapolis, MN, Diane worked for the United States Post Office, Swenson Feed, and the Ethan Coop Lumber Yard. For the past 20 years, she was a valued member of the James Valley Nursery family, serving as the Customer Relations Management Specialist.
Diane's life was filled with adventure, and joy. She had a passion for the outdoors, traveling, and water activities. She enjoyed concerts, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. Her love for sweets, an occasional margarita or whiskey and coke was well-known among those close to her. Diane's zest for life meant she was always on the go, often with an adventure and a story to share.
Diane's legacy of love, laughter, adventure, and a little bit of bling or her favorite color lime green will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Diane is survived by her three devoted daughters: Tara (David) Keller of Armour, SD; Amber Muehl of Sioux Falls, SD; and Falyn (Casey) Calhoon, also of Sioux Falls, SD. She was a cherished grandmother to seven grandchildren: Kami Filter, Kayla Filter, Kadence Filter, Lucas Muehl, Blaze Keller, Mykah Keller, and Jordan Bell, and a proud great-grandmother to four: Charlie Goldammer, Lenix Goldammer, River Bell, and Kyrie Bell.
