Delores Weber, age 82, of Mitchell, SD died Monday, June 30, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Mitchell, SD with burial at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Ethan, SD. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the Will Funeral Chapel with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM. Delores (Hohn) Weber, daughter of Lawrence and Angela (Funke) Hohn, was born September 19, 1931 in Ethan, SD. She grew up in the Ethan/Parkston area and graduated from Parkston High School. She was united in marriage with Donald Weber on November 14, 1949 in Ethan, SD. The couple farmed west of Ethan. Delores was a farm wife and mother. In 2005, the couple moved off the farm and made their home in Mitchell. Delores was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and a former member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Ethan. She enjoyed being active in quilting club, playing cards and traveling. Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Rick Weber, Canton, TX, Mary Jo (Allen) Puetz, Fremont, NE; Peggy Weber - deceased, Bonnie (Lyle) Cole, Mason City, IA, Nancy (Jim) Bain, Madison, SD, Pam (Kyle) Rohr, Princeton, TX, Bob (Barb) Weber, Mitchell, SD, Bill (Sherri) Weber, Savage, MN, Larry (Deb) Weber, Sioux Falls, SD; 20 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; step-grandchildren; a brother, Loren (Nancy) Hohn, Apache Junction, AZ; a sister, Louise Schelp, Independence, MO; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Weber; a daughter, Peggy Weber; her parents; great-grandson Dylan Dixon; a brother, Alfred Hohn, and a sister, Sylvia Piatt.
