Delores Klinger, 89, of Mitchell passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Firesteel Health and Rehab.  Visitation will be from 10:30 until 11:30 AM Monday, December 27, 2021 at Will Funeral Chapel; burial to follow in the American Legion Cemetery.

Delores was born October 9, 1932 in Emery, SD to Bert and Gertrude Browen.  She grew up and attended schools in Alexandria and Emery, SD.  She was united in marriage to Roy D. Klinger on September 13, 1953 in Alexandria, SD.  Delores worked as a bookkeeper for Feinsteins and Mabee Eye Clinic in Mitchell; retiring in 1987.

Delores was an avid golfer and loved to play mahjong.  She was an active member of the Elks Lodge and Eastern Star.  She enjoyed antiquing and was a collector of many beautiful pieces.  Belleek pottery was a favorite.

Roy and Delores enjoyed traveling in their motor home for several years after retirement and then decided to take up residence in Mesa, AZ, until moving to Sioux Falls in 2005.

Grateful for sharing her life are brother, Robert (Sharon) Browen of Salem, sisters in-law, Rosemary Skarset of Sioux Falls, Bernetta Browen of Cambridge, MN, and brother in-law, Lester Fluth of St. Francis, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, parents, 6 brothers, 3 sisters, 2 brothers in-law, and 5 sisters in-law.
