Debra Lynn Skelly-Rath died on October 8, 2021 from end stage heart failure.  Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM Monday, October 18, 2021 at Will Funeral Chapel.  Visitation will begin one hour prior.

She was born on November 8, 1967 in Las Vegas.  Her family moved to Mitchell in October of 1979; the rest of her schooling was in Mitchell.  Deb was known by the community from the Moonlite Bar which her parents, Virginia and Francis Skelly owned and operated.  She was also known for her many years as a dedicated Girl Scout Leader.

Deb was married to Steve Rath and together they had three beautiful children; Treavor, Tarhea and Kaitlyn.  Her daughters went on to have four children of their own.  Tarhea had Adrienne (5) and Declan (1).  Kaitlyn had Riddick (3) and Knox (2).  Deb also had a step daughter, Nicole who has two children, Noah and Cadance.

Later in life Deb settled down with her long-time partner in crime, Jon Samson.  Deb loved to spend her time with family and friends.  Most all her grandchildren knew her simply as "mimi".  Deb loved her dogs, Angel, Booker, Scrappy and Lulu. Deb loved crafts half done, planning parties, holidays, sleeping all day, staying up all night, tea parties with Adrienne and for those who know, the occasional cupcake.

Following the death of her mother and father she is survived by her children, Trevor, Tarhea and Kaitlyn, grandchildren. Adrienne, Riddick, Knox, Declan, spouse, Jon Samson, a brother, Rick Obrembt and sons as well as countless other friends and family.
