David Lee Phillips, age 71, of Mitchell, SD died Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Memorial services will be 6:00 PM Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Will Funeral Chapel with burial at Graceland Cemetery at a later time. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Thursday March 22, 2018 at the Will Funeral Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Phillips, Mitchell, SD; three children, Melissa Maldonado, Denver, CO, Rebecca Phillips, Denver, CO, Andrew Phillips, Mitchell, SD; two grandchildren, Jake and Madison, both of Denver, CO; two brothers, Larry (Karla) Phillips, Mitchell, SD, Scott (De'Andra Rogers) Phillips, Mitchell, SD, a sister, Leslie "Puddy" (Danny) Barber, Omaha, NE; two brothers-in-law, Bud Kunkel and Junior Sonne, Mitchell, SD.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gary Phillips; two sisters, Maureen Kunkel and Vicki Phillips.
