David John Krell, age 70, of Mitchell, SD died Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Doughtery Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Monday, May 14, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Will Funeral Chapel.

David John Krell, son of Sylvester and Blanche (Frost) Krell, was born May 26, 1947 in Mitchell, SD. He grew up in Mitchell and attended school there. David was employed as a baker in Iowa and South Dakota

He enjoyed listening to classical and jaze music, reading, attending live theater productions and band concerts in the park.

Grateful for having shared his life are his mother, Blanche Krell, Monte Vista, CO; two sisters, Judy (Tom) Kuske, Monte Vista, CO and Barb Krell, Ogden, UT; a niece and two nephews; a great nephew and and great niece.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sylvester Krell.
