Daniel Avery, age 64, of Sioux Falls, formerly of Artesian, died Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the VA Medical Center in Sioux Falls.  Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, October 23, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Artesian.  Services are under the direction of the Will Funeral Chapel.

Daniel is survived by his sisters, Eva Neuton (Dennis) of Des Moines, IA and Pam Macalino of Tacoma Washington; a brother Art Avery of Nevada; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Katherine Avery in 1978 and a second wife Roberta (White) Avery in 2000, his parents, and a sister Connie.
