Constance "Connie" Wehrmann age 80, of Mitchell, SD died December 17, 2018 at Avera Brady Health and Rehab. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Will Funeral Chapel in Mitchell, SD. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services and the chapel.

Constance Jean Wehrmann known as "Connie" was born Marlene Marie Wilson on January 24, 1938 in Norfolk, Nebraska to Helen Faulkner and a father she never knew.

Connie's mother Helen married Lee Henderson and was adopted by him as her step-father. They resided in Eden, WI. Connie met and married Ronald Robert Hanna of Oakfield. WI on October 23, 1955.

In 1968 Connie worked for Kohler in Sheboygan, WI making shells for the Vietnam war effort and became a labor shift steward. She divorced in 1969 and married Fritz Wehrmann in 1971, and moved to Wolsey, SD. Connie worked for nursing homes in Wolsey and Huron until her retirement. Connie was a loving, hardworking, kind Christian woman, wife and mother as well as an excellent cook who enjoyed crossword puzzles and gardening.

Grateful for sharing her are her five children, Ronald L. Hanna, Arnold Tronter, Greg Ledbetter, Sheryl Johnston and Chris Wehrmann and  seven grandchildren in four states.

Connie will be greatly missed by those who cherished her and were touched by her generous nature.
