Clarence E. Titze, age 97, of Mitchell, SD died Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital. Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Will Funeral Chapel with burial at Silver Ridge Cemetery, Stickney, SD at a later date. Visitation will from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Will Funeral Chapel.

Clarence E. Titze, son of William and Bertha (Stampe) Titze, was born July 24, 1925 in Rural Davison County. He grew up on the family farm in Aurora County. Clarence attended country school and after his schooling, stayed on the family farm.

Clarence was united in marriage with Marcella Gannon on January 22, 1948 in Minnesota.  He continued farming until 2009, when the couple made their home in Mitchell.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Clarence was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Stickney, SD.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Marcella Titze, Mitchell, SD; two daughters, Sandra (David) Witte, Sioux Falls, SD, Janice (Bill) Reimnitz, Sioux Falls, SD; five grandchildren,  Michael (Nancy) Witte, Flandreau, SD, Greg (Jillian) Witte, Brookings, SD, Amy (John) Priest, Sioux Falls, SD, Brian Reimnitz, Brandon, SD, Jason (Natalie) Reimnitz, Reading, PA; 13 great grandchildren, Michael, Hunter, Sawyer, Sloane, Taylor, Alexis, Ryan, Branden, Jeremiah, Ryker, Jasmine, Jayda, Timothy; a special niece, Linda Adams, Mitchell, SD.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Luverne; a sister, Betty; and two great grandchildren, Brenden and Brandon.
