Claire (Heisinger) Hammond, age 90, of Mitchell died Friday October 26, 2007 at Avera Brady Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday October 31, 2007 at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Will Funeral Chapel with a prayer service followed by a rosary beginning at 7 PM. Claire Heisinger, daughter of Titus and Elizabeth (Nagy) Heisinger, was born November 7, 1916 in Parkston, SD. She was employed at St. Joseph Hospital for 34 years in payroll and accounting. Claire was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the altar society. Claire is survived by many nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack; her parents; eight brothers, Henry, Titus Jr., Martin, Bernard, Joe, William, Anthony; Alois and two sisters, Agnes and Connie.
