Cheryl Ann Harwig, 74, of Parkston, SD, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Avera Borman Manor in Parkston SD with Tom Harwig, her husband, by her side.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Will Funeral Chapel.

"Cherry" was born December 19, 1950, in Rapid City to Bonnie (Davis) and Delbert Vice.

On August 25, 1969, Cherry married Steven Fieseler, and the couple had one son, Shawn.  They lived in Rapid City until Steve's passing in 1977. Cherry and Shawn moved to Hetland, SD, then to Madison, SD.

On August 14, 1993, Cherry married Tom Harwig in Madison SD.  The couple relocated to the Mitchell Area to be closer to their grandchildren.  In 2017, the couple settled down in Parkston, SD.

Cherry was a social butterfly that could make friends everywhere she went.  She was an avid supporter of her son's musical talent and could be seen tearing up the dance floor at his shows.  Cherry loved dancing, playing pool, winning at video lottery, and doting on her grandchildren in her own special way. Cherry was always upbeat and added positive vibes to any situation.  You always heard her laughing and joking to lighten even the darkest of times. Cherry cherished time at home after retirement, playing computer games with her sister Linda and spoiling her cats.

Cherry is survived by her loving husband Tom, son, Shawn (Erin) Fieseler, stepdaughter, Storm LeCocq, granddaughters, Shelby (Mattheau) Cox, Alexandria Fieseler, honorary granddaughter, Jaiden Kuske, sisters, Linda, Debbie, Jewella, Crystal, Diane, Cindy, Jeri-Lyn, and several cousins including Troy Dobyns.

Cherry was preceded in death by her first husband, Steve, her parents, stepfather, three brothers, one sister, and special nephew Derek Vice.
