Charles B. Ruml, 98, of Mitchell, formerly of Letcher, died November 26, 2004 at the Firesteel Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at the Will Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Sunday at the Will Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery. He was born May 29, 1906 in Sanborn County to Bart and Louise (Czrmak) Ruml. He attended the Butler Grade School and farmed for more than 60 years, with his brother, Ed. He married Grace Soulek on February 25, 1959, at Mitchell. They moved into Mitchell in 1989. Charles resided at Prairie Crossings from 2000-2004 and has been a resident of the Firesteel Healthcare Center since May 28, 2004. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1995; three brothers, George, Richard and Edward and three sisters, Agnes Hainy, Viola Hainy, and Helen Asper.
